Stubbs Appointed to FICPA Board

Denise Stubbs, CPA at Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra LLP (MBAF), the largest Florida-based public accounting firm in the State, has been appointed to the Board of Governors of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA). Stubbs will join the prestigious policy-making body as one of its members-at-large. In this capacity, she will work to advance FICPA's mission to enhance the industry's competency and professionalism, support its professional standards, promote the value of its members and advocate on behalf of the profession.

Stubbs received both a bachelor's of science in accounting and finance and a master's of business administration with an emphasis in accounting from Florida Atlantic University. She is currently a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Prior to her appointment, Stubbs served as the chair of FICPA's Young CPAs committee and has published an article for Florida CPA Today Magazine. Denise is also an accomplished public speaker. Additionally, she is a member of the program advisory board for Florida Atlantic University's Masters of Forensic Accounting program, member of the AICPA Family Law Task Force, Broward County Bar and the Broward County Matrimonial Lawyers.
