Jack Brister, TEP, is a principal in the Tax and Accounting Department at MBAF-ERE CPAs, LLC (MBAF ERE), a division of Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra, LLC.

Jack is a recognized authority on various private client cross border, foreign financial institution reporting and foreign international assignment tax issues. He specializes in tax planning and compliance for international wealth structures including foreign trusts, estates and foundations. Jack also specializes in working with U.S. permanent residents living abroad, foreign nationals residing in the U.S., foreign investment in the U.S., pre-immigration and expatriation, recipient of foreign gifts and inheritance, foreign account compliance, voluntary disclosures and U.S. international assignment services.

Jack has been widely published and requested to speak internationally at various venues regarding a variety of international private client wealth tax matters, as well as various Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) issues.

Jack is a designated trust and estate practitioner (TEP) by the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners).
