Eric P. Lerner, CPA, is a director in the Audit Department at MBAF-ERE CPAs, LLC (MBAF ERE), a division of Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra, LLC. He has been in the accounting profession since 1979.

Eric has an extensive background in assurance and forensic and litigation services. As Director of Quality Control, his responsibilities include final review of all assurance work and being a resource on procedural and assurance issues to MBAF ERE professionals. His expertise encompasses expert witness testimony, accounting arbitrator for final purchase price and related working capital adjustments, calculation of damages, dispute resolution, forensic and fraud investigations, fraudulent conveyances, lost profits analysis, malpractice defense, purchase accounting strategies, reconstruction of document records, review and allocation of insurance coverages, and review of application of generally accepted accounting principles.

Eric has also contributed to significant changes to Internal Revenue Service cross border regulations and drafted position papers to the Financial Standards Accounting Board in an effort to amend certain literature.
