Silver & Associates, based in Orlando, Florida, joins MBAF. The firm opens a new office in Boca Raton, Florida, and strengthens its Private Wealth Services Group.

The Fort Lauderdale office opens, and MBAF embarks on a push north to expand services and accessibility throughout Broward and Palm Beach counties. These efforts were accelerated when MBAF joined forces the following year with Peed, Koross & Finkelstein, P.A., a prominent CPA and consulting firm located in the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale.

MBAF has become a regional powerhouse with nearly 100 CPAs and consultants. As one of the largest independent accounting firms in the Southeast, MBAF was also home to the largest staff of professionals Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. As a result, the firm's Litigation Support Services and Business Valuation practice gained prominence both domestically and internationally.

MBAF expands operations outside Florida. The Denver, Colorado office opens (now in Boulder), and the firm's burgeoning headquarters were relocated to our current home in the Miami financial district of Brickell.
MBAF establishes a Computer and Information Services Division in response to the growing demand for technology solutions that generated business results. This division is now Solutions@MBAF, LLC, a thriving technology consultancy.
