An audit supervisor in the Audit Department of MBAF since 2005, Daniel Chavez has fifteen years of professional accounting experience and an in-depth understanding of the operations of financial institutions. Daniel manages financial statement audits, issues financial statements, and offers clients important expertise in the area of Bank Secrecy (BSA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.
In the course of his career, Daniel has redesigned reporting processes and schedules that have allowed companies to operate more efficiently. His focus on the development of new financial reporting policies and procedures has consistently improved business operations. Prior to joining MBAF Daniel has worked for various International Banks such as Banco Latino International, Coutts (USA) International and BNP Paribas in managerial accounting positions.
Daniel’s volunteer efforts include work with the South Florida Golf Foundation where he has raised funds for local charities.
A Certified Public Accountant, Daniel holds a Masters of Science in Taxation and a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida International University. He also holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Miami.
