MBAF announces Yvette Garcia as New Partner, Expanding Firm's Audit Division

Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra, LLP (MBAF), the largest independent public accounting firm in Florida, announces that Yvette Garcia has been elected partner.

Before becoming partner, Garcia was a director in the MBAF's audit department.  With over eleven years of auditing and accounting experience, she focuses her practice on providing extensive services to organizations in various industries, including banking, manufacturing, telecommunications, technology, international banking and other related financial services. Additionally, she works with many national and international public and privately held companies, providing them with audit and business advisory services, such as public offerings, capital formation and mergers and acquisitions.

Garcia received her bachelor's of science degree in accounting from Connecticut State University and her master's of accounting from Florida International University. She is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Florida International Bankers Association and South Florida Banking Institute. She is also committed to community outreach and serves as volunteer to the Junior League of Miami and United Way Audit Committee.
