Frank Gonzalez And Yvette Garcia Join Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Company

MIAMI - August 5, 2002 - Frank Gonzalez, CPA, and Yvette F. Garcia, CPA, join the Assurance Services Department of Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Company LLP, one of the nation's leading independent accounting and management consulting firms. Both formerly with Arthur Andersen's Miami office, Gonzalez is a shareholder and Garcia a manager of auditing.

Gonzalez specializes in audit and business advisory services to national and international public and privately held companies. He has several years of experience in South Florida providing extensive services to organizations in various industries including real estate, community banking, international banking, investment funds, telecommunications, manufacturing and technology. Prior to joining Arthur Andersen, Gonzalez spent eight years with KPMG, most recently as a senior manager in the Assurance Department in Miami.

Gonzalez received his bachelor's of science in accounting from Florida International University and his master's of business administration from the University of Miami. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as a past-president of the Cuban-American Certified Public Accountants Association. Gonzalez also is involved in the local community through the efforts of the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana.

Garcia has supervised audit engagements in a number of industries including financial services, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications and international manufacturers/distributors. During her six-year tenure with Andersen, she participated in audit training for financial institutions; coordinated benefit plan audits; and was involved with SEC filings for initial public offerings. Garcia graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's of science in accounting from Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, CT, and she is a member of the AICPA.
