MIAMI, FL - September 3, 2003 -- Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Company LLP, a Miami based accounting and management-consulting firm, promoted John Schoendorf to director in the Litigation Support Services Department. As a director, Schoendorf will help lead a team of accountants, certified fraud examiners and business valuators in a wide array of litigation engagements.

Schoendorf, who joined Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Company in 2000, has worked on cases involving general commercial litigation, real estate, debtor and creditors' rights, financial reporting, and marital and shareholder disputes. He has worked in many facets of the accounting field including audit and tax planning, SEC reporting, feasibility analysis, and real estate development and construction. He also has extensive experience in receiverships and turnaround consulting.
Schoendorf earned his bachelor's in accounting from the University of Florida and is a licensed real estate broker. He has participated in many civic organizations throughout the South Florida community including the Ann Stork Center, Inc., a group supporting mentally challenged and autistic children, the Coconut Grove Jaycees (charter member), the Coconut Grove Sailing Club, and the American Heart Association.
