Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra, LLP Joins Forces With Fort Lauderdale's Peed, Koross & Finkelstein, PA

MIAMI - October 17, 2003 - Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Company LLP, the Miami-based accounting and management consulting firm, has changed its name to Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra, LLP, and expanded its capabilities in Broward, by joining forces with Fort Lauderdale's Peed, Koross & Finkelstein, PA (PKF).

In recognition of the contributions of Miguel G. Farra, CPA, JD, partner-in-charge of the Tax Department, the firm added a name partner to its moniker for the first time in 13 years. Farra has more than 28 years experience in the areas of tax planning and compliance, tax controversies, international tax and finance for private and publicly held companies. "Mike is an outstanding leader who has shown a tireless commitment to the firm," says Antonio L. Argiz, managing partner of Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra (MBAF). This year's growth at MBAF will be augmented by the addition of Billy M. Peed, CPA, Leroy Koross, CPA, and Ronald D. Finkelstein, CPA, shareholders of the prominent Ft. Lauderdale firm Peed, Koross & Finkelstein, P.A. The entire 15-person firm has joined forces with Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra, expanding the capabilities of the firm while also offering greater access to the more than 500 MBAF clients operating in Broward and Palm Beach counties.
