Michael O'Rourke, CPA, CVA, ABV, Appointed to the American Lung Association of Florida Planned Giving Advisory Board

MIAMI - October 20, 2004 - Michael O'Rourke, CPA, CVA, ABV, a partner with the Ft. Lauderdale office of Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra, LLP, has been appointed to serve on the American Lung Association of Florida Planned Giving Advisory Board, which helps the fight against lung disease by promoting contributions through financial and estate planning.

"Serving as a member of the Lung Association's Florida Planned Giving Advisory Board will give me an opportunity to work with a dedicated group of people toward the important mission of fighting lung disease," said O'Rourke.

O'Rourke has more than 20 years experience providing auditing and management consulting services in the area of business valuation, working on estate planning and settlement, mergers and acquisitions as well as valuations involving marital and shareholder disputes. He also has extensive experience in litigation support encompassing bankruptcy and insolvency, as well as financial analysis related to general corporate civil litigation.

O'Rourke holds a B.S. in accounting from Herbert H. Lehman College of the City University of New York. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Florida Institute of Public Accountants, National Institute of Certified Valuation Analysts, American Society of Appraisers, and the Institute of Business Appraisers. In addition, he is a member of the Planned Giving Council of Broward County.
