Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra, LLP Names Hortensia Sampedro Hacker Director of Marketing

MIAMI - January 6, 2005 - Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra, LLP, a Miami-based accounting and management consulting firm, announced the addition of Hortensia Sampedro Hacker as director of marketing. She will be responsible for the development and implementation of the firm's marketing strategy across all areas of practice.

Hacker has more than 30 years experience in domestic and international banking, marketing and working with non-profit entities. She served 20 years with Chase Manhattan Bank, N.A., holding such positions as chief executive officer of Chase Bank International in New York City and vice president of Private Banking in Miami, FL.

Most recently, Hacker has dedicated her time and efforts to several non-profit organizations. She served on the Boards of Directors of the Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart and the Friends of the Lowe Art Gallery, as well as on Key Biscayne Yacht Club's Board of Governors. Nationally, she has been involved with the Center for InterAmerican Relations (America's Society) and the United States Sailing Association.
