MIAMI - March 18, 2005 - Leroy Koross, CPA, CVA, a partner in the Ft. Lauderdale office of Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra, LLP, received certification from the Supreme Court of Florida as a county and family mediator. The role of a mediator is to facilitate voluntary agreements in resolving disputes by reducing obstacles to communication and assisting in the identification of issues and exploration of alternatives.
"I have participated in hundreds of matrimonial dissolutions over the years, and it is always gratifying to help couples resolve their disputes outside of the courtroom in a less acrimonious process," explains Koross. "As a certified mediator, I look forward to helping individuals in all forms of civil disputes facilitate consensual agreements and to assist them in voluntarily resolving their conflicts."
Koross is one of South Florida's leading authorities in the areas of valuation and forensic accounting in relation to matrimonial disputes.
