Raul Incera & Susan Morrison of MBAF are Finalists for 2006 Up & Comers Award

Miami - May 18, 2006 - Raul Incera and Susan Morrison, CPAs at South Florida's leading accounting firm Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra, LLP (MBAF), are finalists for the South Florida Business Journal's 2006 Up & Comers Awards. This is the first time either Raul or Susan have been nominated for this annual honor.

Presented by Nova Southeastern University, the Up and Comers Award is designed to recognize outstanding young business leaders, under the age of 40, who are making a mark in the Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach business landscape through their personal achievements.

Incera, CPA and a partner with MBAF's tax consulting and compliance services group, focuses his practice on international tax services with an emphasis on financial institutions. Serving almost 15 years as an accountant, Incera consults with a wide variety of businesses within the financial industry, including international and domestic banks, broker-dealers and investment funds. He represents clients from over 12 countries and assists them with their U.S. tax planning and compliance. Prior to joining MBAF, Incera served as tax managing director with a Big Four accounting firm. Active in the local and international community, Incera volunteers at various youth basketball leagues and has served as head coach of the South Miami Youth Baseball League for seven years.

Morrison is a CPA and director with MBAF's accounting department. With over 15 years of experience in the industry, she is involved in all aspects of accounting, tax and consulting services for closely held businesses and individuals. Morrison also works within the litigation support department of the firm where she handles business valuations and financial forecasts. She began her career as an auditor with a Big Four accounting firm. In addition, she has been involved in several community organizations, including the Greater Miami Jewish Federation Young Leadership Council and is currently on the Board of Directors of the Bet Shira Congregation.
