Susan Morrison, of MBAF, Wins Up & Comers Award

Miami - June 9, 2006 - Susan Morrison, a CPA with South Florida's leading accounting firm Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra, LLP (MBAF), was named as the 2006 Up & Comer in the accounting industry by the South Florida Business Journal. The Up & Comers awards, which recognize outstanding young business leaders in the South Florida community, are given annually by the publication.

"We are extremely proud of the achievements Susan has made within the accounting industry and the broader business community," said Tony Argiz, managing partner of Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra. "She is a rising star and will play an integral role in the continued growth of our firm."

Presented by Nova Southeastern University, the Up and Comers Award is designed to recognize outstanding young business leaders, under the age of 40, who are making a mark in the Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach business landscape through their personal achievements.

Morrison is a CPA and director with MBAF's accounting department. With over 15 years of experience in the industry, she is involved in all aspects of accounting, tax and consulting services for closely held businesses and individuals. Morrison also works within the litigation support department of the firm where she handles business valuations and financial forecasts. She began her career as an auditor with a Big Four accounting firm. In addition, she has been involved in several community organizations, including the Greater Miami Jewish Federation Young Leadership Council and is currently on the Board of Directors of the Bet Shira Congregation.

Raul Incera, CPA and a partner with MBAF's tax consulting and compliance services group, was named as a finalist for the 2006 Up & Comers award.
