Santiago Pujals, Jr., CPA, is a partner in the Tax Department at Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra, LLP. A member of the MBAF team since 1992, when he joined the firm as a supervisor, Santiago participates in the administration and marketing of the firm's tax consulting services.
With more than 15 years of experience in public accounting, Santiago's areas of expertise include tax planning, sales and use tax consulting, and representation of clients during examinations by the Internal Revenue Service and Florida Department of Revenue.
His practice encompasses a broad range of clients, including auto dealerships, manufacturers and wholesalers, importers and exporters, and technology companies.
He also provides senior counsel to MBA clients on tax planning issues, with an emphasis on state and local taxation (SALT).
He is a member of the AICPA, the FICPA and its State Tax Section. In addition, Santiago is a member of the executive committee of the Ambassadors of Mercy Hospital.
Santiago is a graduate of Marquette University in Wisconsin with a bachelor of science in accounting and earned a masters of science in taxation from the University of Miami.
