Want to know the secret habits of a highly successful mom? Here are three tips.

Be passionate about your work.

Tami Clemenza-Wilson, a CPA and mother of triplets, found herself embroiled in a messy divorce. She decided the best way to protect herself would be to get educated on her husband's business dealings. She taught herself the ins and outs of marital law, dug up hidden assets and backed accusations of philandering with financial evidence.

These days Clemenza-Wilson is lead partner in the Matrimonial Department at Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra in Fort Lauderdale and Miami, specializing in forensic accounting for divorce cases. She represents men and women. Wilson says she thoroughly enjoys her work and the challenges of each case.

'It's almost like I'm a private investigator, accountant and psychiatrist all wrapped in one,' she says. ``It's rewarding helping people through their darkest time.'

Know your priorities.

During the week, Clemenza-Wilson's longtime nanny plays chauffeur to her kids, 13. But on weekends, she focuses her full attention on them. ``I sacrifice sleep, not my time with them.'

Recognize the trade-offs.

Any career can mean long hours and pressure to perform. But Clemenza-Wilson sets limits for herself. She will not go into the office on weekends. To pull that off, she must delegate. She makes a habit of mentoring others. 'If someone has the right attitude, I train them,' she says.
