ElderCare is a service in which we act as the eyes and ears of absent family members to ensure that elderly persons can function without the burden of responsibility for certain administrative and financial tasks. MBAF offers this valuable service to the elderly, their adult children and other concerned relatives, by providing assurance that financial obligations are met and care goals are achieved for those who are no longer able to perform these particular functions.
in addition to the various financial services normally associated with certified public accountants, we also monitor the services provided by others and report to the client and family members on a periodic basis. Our reputation for independence, objectivity, and integrity make us the ideal professional to offer this valuable service.
The United States Census Bureau estimated in the year 2000, 16.6 million people in the country were 75 years of age or older. This expanding segment of our population requires financial services as well as care and assistance in living in their own homes or in institutional care homes. It is often difficult for adult children to provide this care and assistance due to various reasons, including time constraints and geographic distances between grown children and their parents or older relatives. In addition, governmental agencies are not designed or equipped to provide the care and assistance needed by seniors.
Since 1969, MBAF has advised elderly clients to meet their special needs. To offer a full range of services, we often combine our expertise in financial services with other professionals in long-term care as part of a multidisciplinary team or referral network.
