Miami – December 23, 2005 – Tami Clemenza-Wilson, a partner in the litigation support department of Florida-based accounting and management consulting firm, Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra, LLP (MBAF), was recently recognized as a finalist in the litigation support category of the Excellence in Accounting Awards given by the South Florida Business Journal. The awards, which acknowledge distinction in the field of accounting services, are given annually by the regional business publication.
Clemenza-Wilson has more than 17 years experience in the areas of marital dissolution, forensic accounting, business valuations, tax and financial planning. Focusing her practice primarily in family law, Clamenza-Wilson is recognized as an expert witness by both civil and federal courts in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties. In addition, as a published author, she has designed a CLE course about the tax consequences involved with matrimonial disputes tailored specifically for lawyers and judges.
Active in professional and collegiate organizations, Clemenza-Wilson is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants' Consulting Services and Taxation Divisions, the Florida Institute of CPAs' Family Law Task Division and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. She is also an associate member of the Florida Bar's Family Law Section, where she serves on the Continuing Legal Education and Litigation Support committees. In addition, Clemenza-Wilson serves on the Advisory Board of the Masters of Forensic Accounting Program at the Florida Atlantic University College of Business and is a member of the Mentor Program at the University of Miami.
Clemenza-Wilson holds a master’s degree in taxation from Florida International University and a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Miami.
