MARTA ANIDO NAMED A FINALIST FOR THE 2005 EXCELLENCE IN ACCOUNTING AWARDS BY THE SOUTH FLORIDA BUSINESS JOURNAL
Miami - December 23, 2005 - Marta Anido, a partner in the Audit Department of leading Florida-based accounting and management consulting firm, Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra, LLP (MBAF), was recently recognized as a finalist in the Financial Institutions category of the Excellence in Accounting Awards given by the South Florida Business Journal. The awards, which acknowledge distinction in the field of accounting services, are given annually by the regional business publication.
Anido oversees assurance services for MBAF, including audits and regulatory filings. Throughout her finance career, she has worked with businesses from a wide range of industries, including securities brokers and dealers, investment advisors, mortgage brokers, manufacturers, wholesale distributors and retailers. In addition to her audit responsibilities, Anito provides tax planning, financial analysis, forensic accounting, and litigation support services.
Anido is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. A certified public accountant, She holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Miami.
