Rick Covert, CPA is a partner in the Audit Department of Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra, LLP. Rick has been in practice since 1982 advising clients in the private and non-profit sectors. His wealth of experience affords his varied client base a well-rounded approach to their financial needs.
His areas of industry expertise include automotive dealerships, construction, distribution, employee benefit plans, healthcare, insurance, the manufacturing sectors, non-profit organizations, real estate, retail, and wholesale. Rick is also the partner-in-charge of the firm’s Non-Profit Practice. Rick joined MBAF in 1981 as a staff accountant and was promoted to partner in 1988.
Rick co-authored the AICPA - “Audit and Accounting Guide: Employee Benefit Plans”.
