Alan Freeman, CPA, is a partner in the Tax and Accounting Department of Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra, LLP. Alan joined MBAF from Freeman, Buczyner & Gero as of November 2006.
Alan offers more than 40 years of experience in the public accounting profession. He has a strong background in income and estate tax planning, auditing, accounting and business consultation services.
As name partner of FBG, Freeman oversaw several large accounts in various industries, with an emphasis in tax planning. Alan’s career includes accounting experience with the Internal Revenue Service and Shapiro Fleischmann & Company since 1966, becoming a partner in January 1970. He served as partner in charge of several large clients in the finance, real estate, retail and other various industries.
In 1989 Shapiro Fleischmann & Company merged into Touche Ross (now Deloitte & Touche) with Alan becoming a partner. Also, served as partner in Freeman, Buczyner & Gero since its formation in 1991.
